The IP Satellite Access System (IPSAS™) is an innovative system designed to bridge the gap between traditional ground stations and modern IP-based networks. The IPSAS line of products is designed to easily integrate into established ground stations and provide true IP over the link to the spacecraft directly from mission control.

IPSAS-GND provides a direct interface between most modern ground station uplink transmitters, downlink receivers, and an IP router such as IPSAS-RTR or other commercially available routers. Instead of using limiting space-to-ground communications protocols, IPSAS enables the mission designer to extend the IP network transparently from mission control to the spacecraft and its subsystems effectively turning the on-orbit spacecraft into an IP network node (host).
