Programmable S-Band Transceiver (TRX) is a solution to space to ground communications providing fast data rates across programmable frequencies. The transmitter has a frequency range of 2200MHz -2300MHz and supports BSPK and QPSK modulation techniques. Input encoding is designed to support IP/HDLC but also compatible with other NRZ formats. The data rate operates up to 10Mbps.

The receiver runs at a frequency range of 1750MHz-1850MHz and supports BPSK. The input encoding supports IP/HDLC and also compatible with other NRZ formats. The maximum uplink data rate is 100kbps, significantly faster than the traditional SGLS and CCSDS.

The transmitter was built and demonstrated in a lab environment. The receiver is currently under development.
