We have significant experience and skills in modular, high performance, low Size Weight and Power (SWaP) electronic systems and qualifying them for extreme environments. We have hands-on experience with government and commercial Tacsats, Microsats, Nanosats and Cubesats. We design and build high-efficiency power systems, embedded systems such as on-board-computers, controllers, and command decoders, high reliability supervisory circuits, secure IP Command and Control (C2) links and analog (FM) and digital (GMSK/BPSK/QPSK) RF links.

Innoflight’s software defined radios (SDRs) are designed for performance (up to 100Mbps transmission rates) and reliability, and available in smallsat packages. It incorporates advanced encryption, modulation, encoding and transport methods through modern highly integrated application specific chipsets (RF) and high density FPGAs.  The Innoflight’s SDRs allow frequency, power, waveform, modulation and other features to be selectable and controlled on the fly unlike traditional space hardware, and includes an agile command and data interface incorporating Innoflight’s modern COMSEC efforts.

Innoflight’s networking products enable the use of Internet Protocol (IP) for communication: (a) between space and ground; (b) between spacecraft; (c) between various subsystems of a monolithic spacecraft; and (d) between modular aerospace vehicles in a fractionated spacecraft.  Physical interfaces scale up to Gigabit Ethernet.  For networking between vehicles, and between space and ground Innoflight provides secure communications through its modern COMSEC efforts.

The IP Satellite Access System (IPSAS™) is an innovative system designed to bridge the gap between traditional ground stations and modern IP-based networks. The IPSAS line of products is designed to easily integrate into established ground stations and provide true IP over the link to the spacecraft directly from mission control.
